Refers to an extra piece of skin hanging in some area of the body. It is common on the neck, face, groin and under the arm. These are generally benign and can easily be removed using lasers in our office.
Almost everyone has a few moles. If a mole is of cosmetic concern to you or is located in a troublesome area (face, shaving area, bra line, etc.) they can easily be removed with a laser in our office.
Although the majority of these moles are benign, on rare occasions they can become a health concern. We recommend that if you are concerned about a particular mole or if you have a number of them, you should undergo a general exam by your primary care physician to determine whether they need to be biopsied.
Regardless of their location (hand, feet, face, genitals) they are an unsightly skin condition that can easily be treated by simple cauterization. We also offer laser treatment to destroy warts.
If a skin tag, mole, or wart is bothering you or embarrassing you we can certainly help! We use lasers to remove skin tags, warts, and seborrheic keratosis (benign skin growths) in the office. The procedure is quick with very little downtime. Most clients see results in 1 or 2 sessions. Topical numbing agents are applied to make the procedure as comfortable as possible.
