Tattoo Removal

We can help you fade unwanted tattoos

With a little patience, we can help eliminate your tattoo

Wouldn’t it be great if you could turn your tattoo into a distant memory? What might have seemed like a good idea at the time, but now just doesn’t fit with your lifestyle anymore. Tattoos don't have to last forever!

Lasers are a safe and effective tool for removing unwanted tattoos. You may need to receive several sessions before the tattoo is removed completely. The treatment involves applying a laser to the skin, which targets and shatters ink pigment. Laser tattoo removal has improved significantly over the years, making it easier and less painful to remove unwanted tattoos.

And at Dr K Cosmetic, topical injections are complimentary to help make the treatment as comfortable as possible.

Let's Get Started

How effective is laser tattoo removal?

If you regret a tattoo and want to look at your options, laser tattoo removal is the most effective treatment for eliminating it. Laser tattoo removal is safe for all kinds of skin tones and works on many types of inks. Usually it takes about 3 to 10 treatment sessions for removal, and these sessions are spaced at 4 to 6 weeks.

Different kinds of laser treatments are used for removing different kinds of tattoos. For instance, both Q Switch and Pico lasers are found to be effective in fading tattoos.

There are a few factors that need to be considered before deciding the effectiveness of the laser removal technique in your specific case. Dr K will check factors like the nature of the ink that was used for your tattoo, the amount of the ink used, and depth of the ink injection. The age of your tattoo, the location of the tattoo on your body, and whether you have had previous treatments also impact your treatment. Tattoo removal can take up to a year or more and requires patience.

While many tattoos can be completely removed after several sessions, there are some tattoos that may not completely respond to treatment. However, we can help to significantly lighten these tattoos. We will discuss what you can expect after we examine your tattoo during a complimentary consultation.
